80/20 rule

Okay, so how do we apply the 80/20 rule? On a word document type 10 goals. Then ask yourself, if I can accomplish one goal in the next 24hours, which one goal will have the greatest and positive impact n your life? If you want to be successful, what is the top goal out of the 10 written goals?

Then pick the second most important goal. Now you will have the top 20% needed to help you more than anything else you will do.

Secondly, you should work at these goals all the time. Often we see ourselves and others working all day long on tasks that are of little value. That 20 % of tasks can be the most difficult and so people procrastinate them all the time. That 20 % of tasks often have the biggest benefit to our lives and careers.

One way to accomplish the 20% is to resist the temptation to clear up the small things first. Strange of little things become more and more all the time. Let us go forward calling your 20% your "Smart Goals" list and make sure to work at this first every day and get into the habit of working on this first thing in the morning. don't get into the norm of doing the small things first.

Studies have shown that 85% of rich people have a big goal and work on it all the time and only 3% of poor people have a big goal and don't work on it very much. Pick one big goal and work at it all the time.

What is Life Coaching?

The coaching is unique with each person. We will discover what excites the unconscious, what has meaning for the individual and what is keeping you from moving forward. Action plans are then personalised and together we make sure you stay with your plan.
I guide, support and constantly communicate. We also practice accountability as this allows ownership and empowerment to occur.

This is a partnership of synergies. Applying proven coaching practices along with through awareness, allowing perspectives to change and shifts to happen. This allows for a sense of being and purpose.

What happens during a life coaching session?

We start with your current situation because we want to understand your views. I will ask questions around your assumptions. For instance I will encourage insights therefore noting your opportunities. We then enter into some Life Coaching practices working with being mindful.

This then leads to clear targets and checkpoints for our path. You will then have to commit to taking steps towards your goals before the next meeting. At the next meeting we meticulously review and modify until you have satisfied your desired outcomes.

How does life coaching differ from traditional therapies?­
Therapy tends to focus more on the past. I consider my customers present and ready for the now and the future. My customers just need some help on how to get there with an action plan.

Who do you work with?
I have worked with adults, parents and children of all ages. I have helped women make better choices in their careers and relationships. Many are introverted people who need guidance in their life. This applies to teenagers too.
My customers are committed to growth and are happy to put time and energy into their goals.

Is your service covered by medical aid?
No, my coaching service is not covered by medical aid.

Law of Attraction


When talking about the law of attraction the first thing that one needs to understand is that LIKE attracts LIKE. You have to understand that you are a human magnet, wherever you are and whatever you are projecting you will get back. For example if you are positive you will attract positivity. If you are negative you will attract negativity. If you are a loving person you will attract love.

The power of SELF is if you can see it you will be able to hold it. If you can see it in your mind and hold it in your mind it means that you can hold it in your hand. What I mean by this is, for example, your dream is that you want to be a certain weight. Put the ideal weight that you want to be on your mirror, put it on your fridge, make a saying pop up on your phone.

Remind yourself why this is so important to you. And your dream will come true.

Law of Attraction and Gratitude

The law of attraction tells us that we need to show gratitude. Take stock of our present situation and where we are today to be able to move on to the next level. The law of attraction says that if you show gratitude you will get to where you want to be quicker.

Remember that laughter is important in-between all the chaos and decisions in our lives. The biggest point is that laughter releases negativity. Laughter brings joy to all those around you. Go onto YouTube and have a look and see what laughing does. There have been many videos made with somebody that starts laughing in a crowd and within no time at all many others are smiling if not laughing.

The other day I was at a funeral. The Minister said to the family, think of only the good things. Think of times when you would laugh with your deceased. The family then started to laugh about something that they've experienced with the deceased. Then the Minister said, joy and depression cannot be in the same room.

So the law of attraction says Laugh. Laugh even when it isn't even funny, just start laughing randomly and you will feel better...



Mind Power

Sometimes we try too hard to figure things out, which then leads to procrastination. When things become too hard, it becomes easier for us to find alternative things to do to avoid the difficult task. The power of the mind is beyond our understanding sometimes. The power of thoughts can be as powerful. Our brain does not know the difference between thoughts and reality. In our thoughts, it’s scared what we can create - for example, everyone hates me, I can’t do my job properly, I’m a failure, I’ll never find love.

So, whatever we think, our brain believes it to be true. When we verbalise or write down our thoughts then it begins to make more sense, what we thought to be true - negatively - is not, and we gain an understanding of where we actually are in the situation.

SMART Goals

Smart goals recommended by an experienced Life Coach

Ask for the Job you want, Ask for the salary you want, ask for the responsibilities you want. Life and time management, what is that and how can I apply it. That's easy, its called the 80/20 rule. The 80/20 rule is also named the Pareto principle after its founder Vilfredo Pareto.
Pareto noticed that society naturally divided into what he called the vital few 20% in terms of money, property and influence. Then the trivial or bottom 80%. He also noted that 80% of Italy's wealth was controlled by 20% of the population.
We can use this 80/20 rile to productivity and goal setting. According to this principal, 20% of your activities will account for 80% of your results. That means if you have a list of 10 items to accomplish, 2 of those items will account more than the other 8 items put together.

Most people end up procrastinating on the top 2 items that are the most valuable and important items. Instead, we busy ourselves with the other 8 that are least important.
